How to apply

Applying and enrolling are two different steps. Start with the one you are at.

This is a demonstration:

This site does not collect applications. The links below show where the real application and enrolment steps will connect.

Now taking applications for the next intake

Applying

Choose a course and tell us about yourself. This comes first, and you can apply for more than one course.

Enrolling

Enrolling comes after you have an offer. It confirms your place, your details and the support you will have.

Five steps from choosing to starting

  1. Choose your course or courses

Search by subject, level, campus or your postcode. Read the entry requirements on the course page, and pick one or two courses you would be happy to start.

  2. Apply

Use the apply link on the course page. Tell us a little about yourself and any support you might need. Applying costs nothing and is not a promise either way.

  3. Register and enrol

We confirm we have your application and ask you to register your details. When you accept an offer you enrol: bring photo ID, proof of address and, for adult courses, anything that shows you are eligible for funding.

  4. Come for an interview or a talk

Most courses invite you in for a friendly conversation with a tutor. Some invite you to a group talk instead. You can bring someone with you.

  5. Receive your offer and plan what comes next

We write to you with an offer, or with other courses that might suit you better. Your offer explains any results you still need, how to accept, and when your induction is.

Placeholder copy: interview lengths, ID requirements and funding checks are examples, and the admissions team will confirm the real rules for each course.

Find an open day

Interviews are conversations, not tests

Nobody is trying to catch you out. A tutor wants to hear what you enjoy, what you hope to do next and what would help you succeed.

  • There is no exam, and you do not need to prepare anything.
  • It is usually short and friendly.
  • You can bring a parent, carer, friend or support worker.
  • If you would rather talk by phone or video, or need adjustments, we will arrange it.
